Wow, can you believe there's only 40 days left?
So, who thinks that I should "lent" my way to the wedding?

NO there will be no garter belt and NO there will be no bouquet toss.
And NO cake cutting cermony.
...now, everybody sing with me, "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands! (clap clap)..."

Brian and I finally picked out the wedding tuxes. Phew. And with Madeline in tow in the Ergo, the trip was although time consuming, a success and actually kinda fun! She rather enjoyed the store, cooing and drooling galore. (way too much rhyming - I swear there's not a drop o'hooch in me!)
The tux info will be distributed to the boys in an email, but here's the scoop should you be asked or need to reference:
Store: Mens Wearhouse or Mens Wearhouse Tux
Website: www.menswearhouse.com
Group Name: Syrjala/Tibbetts
Fitting Deadline: August 1
Pick-up Date: August 28
Return Date: August 31 (at any store location)
Each groomsmen's name has been provided and is stored in the computer. I will be able to log into our account and find out who has been fitted and who has not!
I don't want to ruin the surprise by giving away too many details; all I'll say is that all the boys are in black tuxes, and that they'll match very well with us. Very Shahp Indeed.
The guys can return the tuxes at the Mens Wearhouse in Warwick, RI if that's easiest. The store should be open on Sunday, the day after the wedding, from 11-6. As the best man is responsible for returning the groom's tux, Brian and I thankfully don't have to worry about the return -- but the other 9 men do. So the convenience of going to Warwick may be welcome.
And there are stores everywhere, even in Hyannis... And there's a sister store in Montreal for little b too -- called Moore's,
later,
mct

Mamma Mia the movie opens next weekend! Wanna go?
If so, lemme know and I'll get tickets in advance. Thinking a Sunday matinee after the shower (July 20) might be a groovy time to sit in a dark cool mostly comfy theatre, mow down some popcorn, and hear some Abba! "loving me loving you...uh..huuuuuuuuuuh."
(if you haven't seen the play, it is very sweet, about an upcoming wedding, and is so much fun.)
